Final Random Inspection

Pre-shipment verification at 80 to 100% production completion. AQL sampling to ISO 2859-1. Clear pass or fail before goods leave the factory.

The last quality checkpoint before your container is sealed

An FRI is conducted when production is 80 to 100% complete and packed. The inspector selects a random sample from the batch per your agreed AQL sampling plan and checks every unit against your product specification.

Every defect is classified as Critical, Major, or Minor. The total count in each category is compared against your acceptance criteria. The result is a clear pass or fail, backed by photographic evidence and a factory representative signature on all findings.

Report delivered within 24 hours, in time to hold the shipment if the result is a fail.

When you need FRI

Any time goods are being shipped. Standard for every order, particularly on new suppliers, new product categories, and high-value orders. FRI is the baseline quality gate before every container leaves.

What QCI checks
Quantity and packaging, workmanship and appearance, dimensional verification, functional testing, safety-critical checks for appliances, labelling and compliance markings, carton drop-test samples.

How a QCI Final Random Inspection works

Pre-inspection brief

Your account manager confirms the product specification, AQL sampling plan, critical defect list, and any specific checkpoints. The inspector arrives prepared, not discovering the product on the day.

Random sample selection

Cartons selected at random from the batch per ISO 2859-1. The factory cannot predict which units will be inspected. Serial numbers scanned to link findings to specific units.

Structured inspection

Inspector works through a checklist aligned to your product category. Every defect photographed, classified by severity, and recorded against the unit serial number.

On-site sign-off

All findings confirmed with the factory quality representative before the inspector leaves. Supplier signs the inspection record. No retrospective disputes.

24-hour report delivery

Full report in your inbox within 24 hours. AQL results, defect photos with annotations, pass/fail verdict, and a clear action summary.
